Inspired of the work of Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm, a few months back I got the idea- and suggested to my friend Johan aka Sleepy Songs, that since we connect deeply with the piano music, we could try to do some cooperative work.
I suggested the names Rowan and Elder as the name of the project, and soon enough the first single Rowan was finished. A little more than a week back we got it released with some help from The Sonder House, and it’s hitting the playlists by now and is gaining some attention.
By now, we’ve all finally had to accept the inevitable – all is coming to an end 😊 The saga of Game of Throne is finally over and forthcoming Monday nights meets an unknown destiny…
“The night” expresses many things, both in life and beyond…
However, in a few weeks, my next piano track “Will You Join Me in the Night”, completely unrelated to GoT of course but stil raises the question. Will you join me in the night – in this song? Blue eyes or not 😎
This song is a place to feel restful and in peace. The night expresses many things for us, both in life and beyond; although this song in particular captures the melancholics of suffering from insomnia, but it also relates to the question why we dream – will we meet in our dreams? And after this life, will we meet on the other side? It raises the question what is the night for you?
This song is also part of my upcoming EP “Insomnia”.

In the beginning, man knew nothing of music, although there was noise of nature. And there was silence. Probably the silence inspired to the first attempts to make music, born from the human inner being. So then there was improvisation. And then music!
My next release ”Lake” is a step back to the origin of man. Finding the music in nature itself, I spent some time by a distant lake where there was no sound but my inner flow, on a beautiful winter day.
Hence, my next song is a piano improvisation piece, created from nothing and without any editing. Being true to the inner flow, just rec and play, and it became this ambient and beautiful piano solo piece.
